The dedicated TV Globo receiver DMT 1501 will work only with the card furnished with it. It can receive more than 300 channels from the Hotbird satellite. ( possibility to receive up to 4 different satellites simultaneously !)

Incredibly fast and reliable it has a very well done on-screen  menu. Among different functions you can program 8 favorite lists of channels for all members of the  family. Decoder allows connection to max 4 LNBs and has SPDIF ( Dolby Digital 5.1 audio output for those of you who have a Home Cinema system )

Technical Characteristics: 

The TV Globo decoder has a dedicated software. The menu is available in Portuguese, Spanish and English. There are two video outputs at the back, one for the TV screen and one for a VCR or DVD/HardDrive recorder. The menu includes a timer, so you won't miss your favourite shows.

Other functions:  

RGB mode or CVBS mode can be selected through the SCART lead. With the Tuning Status option you can easily check dish allignment.

On each page of the menu you have a HELP button which prompts you how to make the right choice and what it is about.  Decoder has a Loop through socket so connection with another satellite receiver on the same dish is not a problem. In addition you have the choice to allow or disallow power ( 18 V ) to the LNB which makes this unit easy to connect on collective satellite systems.
