 Canal Digital Norway was
founded in March 1997 as a joint venture between
French pay-TV company Canal+ and the Norwegian
holding company Telenor Plus. The offer includes popular
channels such as NRK1 andNRK2, N and others. Within its first
year of operation, Canal Digital NO had signed deals
with 20 top international channel providers such
as National Geographic, Discovery, Disney and Eurosport. As of end of
2005, Canal Digital
offers about 40 top international channels. To install the
